Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there was a group of people who believed that they were the chosen ones. They believed that their religion was the only true religion and that everyone else was wrong. At first, they kept to themselves, praying and studying their holy texts. But over time, they became more and more extreme in their beliefs. They began to see the world as black and white, good and evil, us and them. They started to preach their message of intolerance and hate to anyone who would listen. They told their followers that anyone who did not believe as they did was a threat to their way of life. The followers of this extremist group became more and more fanatical. They stopped talking to people who did not share their beliefs. They shunned family members and friends who did not agree with them. They began to see violence as a legitimate means of promoting their cause. They targeted people who were different from them, people of other religions, races, and cultures....
